About this service
These terms govern your use of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) at emis.kusoed.edu.np and the KUSOED EMIS mobile app, operated for Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED), Hattiban, Lalitpur, Nepal. The platform is built and maintained on KUSOED's behalf by Ek Ra Sunya Inc Pvt. Ltd.
- Acceptance. By signing in or using this platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it and contact the School.
- Who may use it. Enrolled students and staff are issued accounts by KUSOED. Applicants to the School may create an account in order to apply and to follow their application.
- Your account is personal. Do not share your password or let anyone else use your account. You are responsible for activity under it. Tell the School promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
- Accurate information. Information and documents you submit, particularly in an application, must be true and your own. Submitting false or altered documents may lead to your application or enrolment being withdrawn under the University's own rules.
- Academic and financial records. Results, fee schedules and payment records shown here are the University's institutional records. The platform displays them; it does not decide them. If you believe a record is wrong, raise it with the relevant department or the accounts office rather than treating the screen as final.
- Results are shown when published. A result becomes visible only after the department publishes it. A result that is not yet visible has not necessarily been decided.
- Fee payments. Payments are processed by Khalti and the KU Revenue gateway, and are subject to those providers' own terms. A payment is settled when the University's records show it as received, which may be later than the moment your bank or wallet confirms it. Refunds and fee disputes are handled by the University under its financial rules, not through the app.
- Acceptable use. Do not attempt to access records that are not yours, probe or disrupt the service, or use automated means to extract data from it. Access may be suspended where this is suspected.
- Availability. The platform is provided as it stands. It may be unavailable during maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Deadlines set by the University are not extended automatically because of a service interruption; contact the School if you are affected.
- Privacy. Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. KUSOED is the controller of student and applicant records.
- Closing your account. You may ask for your account and login access to be closed. Because the University is required to keep academic and financial records, closing an account does not delete the underlying institutional record.
- Changes. These terms may be updated. Material changes will be published on this page with a new last-updated date.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and by the rules and regulations of Kathmandu University.
